Eh, I must be the only one that thinks Petey was nothing to special. Aside from having a really flashy finisher he is overall very average. I hope WWE doesn't pick him up. TNA didn't lose anything here and I'm glad to see they are finally starting to make some releases.

Since his time in Team Canada Petey has really just been drifting with no direction whatsoever. Of course that could be said about anyone not involved at the main event scene right now.

This can be said for everyone who was instrumental in making TNA a nationally viable wrestling company. If you weren't in WWE, WCW, or ECW at one point in time, you have a greatly smaller chance of doing anything in TNA. The only semi-exceptions to the rule are AJ Styles and Samoa Joe. But frankly, neither of them are really doing much anymore anyways so forget it.

Major Edit: It's been confirmed that TNA signed Stevie Richards. I guess he's the new face they were talking about.

Has anybody else ever stopped and had a good think about TNA and why they do the things they do? What in the HELL are their motives? Are they REALLY as dumb as they appear to be.... Or are all these supposed "bad" decisions really just phases in some long and enduring fucking superplan of awesomeness that will be unleashed upon the pro-wrestling universe and its fans, catapaulting an incredible new era in wrestling?

Or something of the sort.... I havent smoked weed in a couple of months, folks.

I 100% agree. It seems like there's always 1 or 2 big storylines in TNA, MAYBE one smaller feud, and then the rest of the card is just filler. Even at PPVs. That's one thing I don't like about TNA. They need to work on having more, reckognizable feuds.

I could miss two episodes of Impact and everyone will be wrestling someone different when I tuned in the next time.

This is a good discussion.

All i can say is i can understand taking away some of the no so used talent and releasing them, but again like many have said i dont get why Pette williams has to go.. He was part of the front line.. lol it makes no sense..

Pette on ECW would be interesting to see.. He would indeed fit in perfectly..

To be honest i cant wait for this MEM storyline to get over with..

The sad part is that when it started it seemed like TNA finally figured out what people want. When it was the TNA Originals (which I took to mean that they were original wrestlers to TNA, not necessarily guys who were in TNA from the beginning) and the MEM all was well. Once the Originals because the Front Line, everything went to pot.

Yeah true. Plus once they illogically put Team 3D in with the Frontline that ended it right there for me.

The thing about Stevie Richards is that if they kept him as an on-screen character and not as a wrester (which seems to be the plan) he might be okay. That was always one of his better traits, trying to win us over with a gimmick or something. Remember 'Stevie Night Heat' where he said he basically owned Heat and let people come onto his show that was great. Or even him & psycho Victoria, that was a great partnership.

Well from the newsboard TNA have wasted no time bringing people in. Stevie we know. Rob Terry is someone I am not familiar with, but I've read he is Welsh and is meant to be crap.

Ashley Lane/Madison Rayne is a solid acquisition, I've no problems with that. I read elsewhere that the plan is for her to join The Beautiful People, which would be fine.

Although on the flipside, WWE are said to be interested in Robert Roode whose contract is up in a couple of months. He would be a big loss to TNA. I could see him jump if he got offered the chance.

I also think that it was a bad decision for TNA to release Petey, he is a big part of the X division and should have been kept as part of the front line (if he got rid of the stupid Steiner look). These new faces that they're bringing in to take his place are better than Brutus Magnus (didn't get a good reception in the uk- only cheered coz he was against Shiek Abdul Bashir)
I'm not sure about him going to WWE, as WWE have a habit of signing TNA talent and doing nothing with them.

False. Frankie Kazarian quit because, and I quote, "not everyone on the writing team knew who he was after a month of being with the company." He was on his way to a big push in the Cruiserweight Division and he quit because of that and they wanted him to cut his hair.

Monty Brown had to leave because of family reasons. He will be welcomed back with open arms should he choose to, and likely receive a big push upon his return.

Chris Harris was a joke when he came into the WWE. He was in the worst shape of his career, and you could tell he didn't want to be there. Frankly he should have stayed with TNA.

R-Truth got his push scaled back because he is mediocre at best when it comes to basic wrestling. Once he can work a good match without relying on dancing and flipping every 2 seconds, expect his push to pick back up.

Anyone else you want me to refute?

Black Reign was nothing. He was much more known for being Goldust so its the other way around, TNA signing WWE talent and not knowing what to do with him.
